Overview

Drywall and painting from one crew

Most paint jobs fail before the first coat goes on. Nail pops don't get set, seams don't get skimmed, corners don't get caulked, and no amount of good paint hides any of it. Superior Drywall has spent 20+ years making walls flat for a living, so when we paint your interior, the surface underneath is already right.

That means you hire one contractor instead of two. We handle the patching, the sanding, the priming, and the paint, on one schedule, with one point of contact. And you don't need to be a drywall customer to hire us. If you just want your walls and ceilings painted, that's a job we'll take anywhere in the Twin Cities metro.

FAQ

Common questions

Yes. We charge a small on-site estimate fee, which helps us provide detailed, accurate proposals and ensures we can dedicate time to every project. If you move forward with us, we'll credit the fee toward your project.

It comes down to square footage, ceiling height, how much prep and repair the walls need, and whether ceilings are included. A single room is a very different number than a whole-home repaint. Call or text and we'll walk the space and give you an honest written price.

That's exactly what we're built for. Cracks, holes, dents, nail pops, and water-damaged drywall get cut out, patched, textured to match, and painted by the same crew, so the repair disappears instead of standing out under a fresh coat.

No. We'll take a straight paint job. If your walls are in good shape and you just want a room, a basement, or a whole floor repainted, that's work we're happy to quote. The drywall background just means the prep gets done right either way.

Quality, low-VOC interior paint in the sheen that fits the room. Flat or matte hides imperfections on ceilings and low-traffic walls, while eggshell and satin hold up better in hallways and kids' rooms. If you have a brand or color you already like, we'll use it.

No. We move what we can to the center of the room, cover it, and mask your floors and fixtures. If you'd rather clear a room out yourself, that's fine too, it just speeds things up a little.

A single room is usually one day. A finished basement or a main level runs a few days. A full interior repaint is typically a week or two depending on size and how much prep the walls need. You'll get a real timeline on your proposal, not a guess.

Dust control is what we're known for. We seal off work areas, sand with vacuum attachments where we can, and use low-VOC paint so the smell clears fast. Most families stay in the house while we work.
